I believe it is when I’m behind the lens that I actually descry the world around me. It forces me to really see what’s before me. It teaches me to slow down and find nontraditional beauty in unexpected places that I would of otherwise over looked. The dirty, grungy, shoddy things are my favorite. I find my self surrounded by them more often than not. From behind the lens, I’m able to redefine what is considered beautiful. That is what makes me fall in love with what we do all over again. I dare you to slow down and really see.
